This back vintage 2008 Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon is a California- plummy in colour. On the nose aromas of dark, ripe and sweet red fruits with vanilla and herbal touch. The palate is medium-bodied, quite fruity and juicy, even balanced. In the mouth flavours of black cherry, dark currant fruit and notes cedar box, spices, chocolate, herbs and dark licorice. A graceful flavours are supported by soft tannins and toasty wood character finish. The wine is best to enjoy with chicken dishes, red meats, game and mildly seasoned pastas.
