This Shiraz displays opulent, mouth-filling fruit flavours of ripe plum, cherry and black berry with dark chocolate notes. The primary fruit characters are well complimented by some leathery, earthy tones and an alluring vanillin oak profile. This superbly structured wine has a robust acid/tannin backbone with some creamy textures provided by the well integrated oak. This wine is drinking well on release and the full-bodied structure and intense fruit characters mean that it will also develop wonderfully with careful cellaring.
