Kurayoshi Distillery
Kurayoshi the foothills of Mt. Daisen, here has a fine water that is indispensable for whisky distilling. Kurayoshi, called that “Life is good” is the origin of the word, but the annual temperature range in the Sea of Japan side is large, and the aging of whisky also advances quickly compared to the actual situation like Islay Island.
It is no exaggeration to say that whiskey is made by barrel and the nature. Our distillery is not big, we have a small number of staff, however, we will continue to strive all the staff with the desire to deliver the best whisky.
Kurayoshi 8 Year Old Malt Whisky is aged in white oak ex-bourbon barrels for over eight years. This aging process creates a more refined whisky with a depth of character, removing any unpleasant flavors, it causes the whisky to develop a ripeness and complexity in flavor. This 8-year-old malt whisky is packed with refreshing notes of citrus, and a sweet, soft, vanilla nuttiness.
日本松井酒造創立於1910年於日本鳥取縣，至今已有107年的歷史，起初是由製作芋燒酒起家，由於鳥取縣的水質在日本是數一數二，於是松井酒造開始開發另一條酒類銷售線。
在芋燒酒之後就開始著手研究威士忌，這一路的研發以及改良，創造出今天倉吉威士忌的好味道，倉吉威士忌皆採用嚴選蘇格蘭北部威士忌原酒以及日本國內蒸餾酒技術調製而成。
威士忌在製成的過程中『水』其實是非常重要的角色！不論在水的品質、甜度等，都會直接影響到威士忌最後帶出的口感。
日本鳥取縣倉吉威士忌，選用鳥取縣豐富的自然資源，大山山脈的天然山泉水醞釀而成，呈現出具有日本文化風味威士忌。
